How to Import a Subscription and Connect

Set up your account and subscription first, then install a client. Follow the steps below and check that the sites you need work afterward. Skip any steps you’ve already completed.

Menus and labels vary between clients. This guide follows the general flow: account → plan → subscription → import → connect. Use the user panel and your client’s current interface as your reference. If you see a similar option such as “Subscription,” “Configuration,” or “Import from URL,” check that it’s the right one before proceeding.

Create an account and save your login details

Open the QiuVPN user panel and go to the account creation page. No email address is required; just choose a username and password. Before entering your details, choose a username you’ll remember and a password you don’t use on other sites. Follow the prompts, then make sure you’ve reached the panel rather than remaining on the login form.

Save your username and password in a trusted password manager instead of relying only on your browser’s current login session. You’ll need the same account when switching devices, getting a client, or contacting support. Creating an account doesn’t activate a plan or connect a client; you’ll need to choose a plan and import your subscription next.

If the page says your username is already taken, check whether you’ve created an account before rather than repeatedly creating new ones. If you already have an account, use the panel’s login page. If you can’t log in, check your keyboard layout, letter case, and any accidental spaces. For account access help, see the account and subscription section of the FAQ. Never post your password in a public discussion.

Choose a plan and confirm your payment

In the panel’s plans section, first choose between a monthly subscription and a data package. Monthly subscriptions suit ongoing use: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, or ¥28/month for 500GB. Data allowances reset monthly on the activation date. Data packages cost ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, or ¥658/3000GB; they expire only when used up and never expire otherwise. Monthly data reset rules do not apply to data packages.

When you’re getting started, choose a plan based on how you’ll use it rather than aiming for the largest data allowance. Browsing, using AI tools, and streaming video use different amounts of data, and video quality also affects usage. If you’re unsure, read the plan pricing and billing details to compare a recurring monthly allowance with a data package that doesn’t expire monthly, then return to the panel to choose.

After choosing a plan, check the price, data allowance, and billing terms on the order page. Follow the prompts to pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. Then return to the panel and check the order result and plan status on your account. Closing the payment page doesn’t necessarily update the panel, so don’t assume activation succeeded. If the status is still unclear, check the original order before submitting another one.

All plans support unlimited devices and include a 7-day refund policy. If you upgrade a monthly subscription partway through, the price difference is converted into remaining days; check the panel’s details before confirming. For refund terms, see the Terms of Service. For order or payment issues, contact support through panel tickets, and don’t share personal information from your payment receipt publicly.

Choose This Plan

Get your subscription and import it into a client

Once your plan is active, open the account overview and find the subscription section. Your subscription lets a client load server configurations; it isn’t a regular website address or an installer. Choose an import method that matches your client. If the panel offers an option to open the client, try importing directly. If your system asks whether to open an app, make sure the app name matches the client you installed.

To import manually, use the panel’s copy function to get the full link, then paste it into the client’s subscription URL field. Don’t copy it character by character from a screenshot or remove any parameters at the end. Extra spaces, an incomplete copy, or the wrong configuration format can cause updates to fail. If your clipboard still contains something else, copy the link again from the panel.

Your subscription link contains account access credentials, so keep it as secure as a password. Don’t post it on public websites, in group chats, or on unfamiliar sites, and never include the full link in an error screenshot. This guide doesn’t provide subscription URLs; use only the link from your own signed-in panel. If you need help with a client error, share the error message and a screenshot with sensitive details hidden.

After saving the subscription, the client should load the server list. The first update requires an internet connection, so make sure your local network is working. If the update fails, check that your plan is active and the link is complete, then confirm that your client supports the selected format. See the subscription update section of troubleshooting for more help; there’s no need to create another account.

Install a client and import your subscription

Download clients from the downloads section of the user panel. You can get clients for Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux after signing in, even without a purchased plan. To load and use a subscription, your account must have an active plan. For iOS, the plan must be active and unexpired; follow the instructions in the panel. This guide doesn’t provide public installer links.

We recommend using the QiuVPN client and import instructions provided in the panel. The client loads your subscription, lets you choose a server, and handles the relevant network traffic, so you don’t need to enter server settings manually. If you’re using a client you already have, check that the panel provides a compatible format instead of pasting the link into just any import option.

Windows: Import from the Configuration or Subscription menu

Choose the Windows client in the panel, download it, and follow the installation wizard. Then open the client. Look for an option to import from a link in the main screen’s “Configuration,” “Subscription,” or add menu. Choose URL or remote subscription, paste the link you copied, give the configuration a recognizable name, then save and update it.

Once the server list appears, make sure the active configuration is the QiuVPN one—not another configuration saved in the client. Choose a server, then enable the system proxy or connection mode as instructed by the client. Grant system permissions only to the client you’re using. If you’re unsure what a permission does, check the panel’s instructions before changing other network settings.

macOS: Allow network access, then select your configuration

Get the macOS client from the panel, install it, and open it. The first time you launch it, macOS may ask you to confirm that the app can run or add a network configuration. Check the app’s name and source, then follow the system prompts to grant permission. The subscription option is usually under “Configuration,” “Subscription Management,” or the menu bar app’s settings. Add the subscription by URL and update it.

After the update, select the configuration on the server or proxy page. Some clients keep running in the menu bar after you close their window, so check the client’s status rather than whether its window is open. If macOS denied a permission, check the relevant item in System Settings. For a more detailed walkthrough, see the macOS setup guide for beginners.

Android: Import a remote subscription and allow the connection request

Sign in to the panel to get the Android client, then follow your device’s installation prompts. Open the app and find the configuration, subscription, or add option. Choose import by link, paste the full URL, and save it. If you use the panel’s one-tap import option, select the client you actually installed when prompted. After importing, check the configuration and server list in the app.

When you connect, Android may show a VPN connection request. This is required for the client to establish a system network connection. Check the app’s name, allow the request, and then check the connection status in the app. If the connection drops when the app is in the background, check your device’s battery and background activity settings for the client. You don’t need to turn off every power-saving feature; see the FAQ for more help.

iOS: Get the client and add a configuration as directed in the panel

First, make sure your plan is active and unexpired. Then open the iOS download option in the panel and follow the instructions shown to install the client. Once it’s installed, return to the panel and try the import method for that client. To import manually, choose the option to add a link in the client’s subscription or configuration settings, then save the full subscription URL.

After the client loads the servers, select a configuration and connect. If the system asks to add a VPN configuration, check which app you’re using and complete the system verification. If the panel says the client isn’t available yet, check your plan status instead of looking for an installer link that isn’t on this page. After connecting, check both the app’s status and your system network settings before moving on to the access test.

Linux and existing clients

QiuVPN also supports Linux, with downloads available in the user panel. Linux desktop environments and existing clients vary, so start with the installation and import instructions provided in the panel. For configuration format, proxy scope, or permission issues, work through troubleshooting. This guide doesn’t cover command-line use or complex network settings, so you can focus on making your first connection.

Connect to a server and test access

After importing successfully, choose a server region that suits your needs, then connect. For AI tools, first check which regions the service supports. For streaming, consider the region requirements for your account and content library; the closest server isn’t always the right choice. QiuVPN offers 110+ countries / 150+ routes. Visit the global server locations page to learn how IEPL dedicated lines, relay routes, and direct connections differ, then choose what fits your needs.

After connecting, check that the client says it’s connected and that the required system proxy or network mode is enabled. Then open the site you need and check that its pages, login, and main features work. A changed button color isn’t enough, nor is checking whether a local site opens. Test an international site or app you actually use to make sure the connection meets your needs.

If a page was already open, reload it or close it and try again. Apps may keep an existing connection, and you might need to restart one after switching servers. For AI tools and streaming services, a working network connection doesn’t guarantee that your account, region, or content rights are supported. If you see a specific region or account message, check it first instead of assuming every issue is a server problem.

If you still can’t access the site, keep the current configuration and check these in order: whether your local network is working, whether the subscription updated successfully, and whether the client is actually connected. Then try another server suited to your use case, changing one thing at a time so you can tell what made a difference. For help with “can’t connect at all,” “connected but pages won’t load,” or “disconnects in the background,” see troubleshooting.

Once the connection works, import the same account’s subscription on your other devices. QiuVPN supports unlimited devices, but you’ll need to install a client, import the configuration, and verify the connection on each one. Don’t skip permission checks just because another device is already connected. For day-to-day use, keep the subscription updated and check your plan status and remaining data in the panel.

If you need help, open a panel ticket with your device platform, client name, error message, and the steps you’ve already tried. Before sharing screenshots, hide your password, subscription link, and personal payment details. This helps us troubleshoot while keeping your account information secure.
